§ 2-26. [Establishing offices of alderman by place.]

(a)

The city governing body of the City of Trussville, Alabama, shall consist of a mayor and five councilmembers who shall be elected by a vote of the voters at large in the City of Trussville, Alabama.

(b)

The places on the city council be and the same are hereby designated as Place Number 1, Place Number 2, Place Number 3, Place Number 4, and Place Number 5.

(c)

That each candidate for a place on the city council shall in the announcement of his or her candidacy designate by number the place for which he or she is a candidate and no person shall be a candidate for more than one place.
